Edinburgh Airport Transfers (EDI) – Private Taxi, Shuttle & Meet & Greet
Flying into or out of Edinburgh? We provide reliable, private Edinburgh Airport transfers—often called airport shuttles, airport taxis or simply “taxi to EDI”. Our local drivers track your flight, meet you at arrivals if requested, and help with luggage. Choose standard cars or 6–8 seaters for groups, with space for cases, golf bags and prams.
• 24/7 service with real-time flight monitoring
• Meet & Greet available inside the terminal
• Fixed pricing for journeys outside Edinburgh; metered for trips within the city
• Online card payment or secure link available in advance
• Child-friendly and pet-friendly on request (please let us know when booking)
Book now and travel stress-free to hotels, city centre, cruise terminals, conferences and onward rail stations.
Meet & Greet Service (Optional)
Prefer a smoother arrival? Your driver will wait inside the terminal with your name, assist with luggage, and guide you to the vehicle parked nearby. We include flight tracking and a 30-minute grace period from actual landing. If your flight is significantly delayed, we simply adjust—no need to rebook.
When to Book for Early-Morning Flights
For departures before 06:30, book at least the day before so we can schedule the driver and check for roadworks or weather. As a rule of thumb:
• City Centre → EDI: allow 45–60 minutes door-to-door including buffer.
• Outside Edinburgh or group/6–8 seater: allow at least 60–90 minutes.
Tell us your airline’s check-in/bag-drop time and we’ll advise a safe pick-up window.
Cars, 6–8 Seaters & Luggage
Solo or couple? A saloon/estate is perfect. Families and groups can choose our 6–8 seater options with room for suitcases, foldable prams and sports gear. If you have bikes, golf bags, child seats or extra-large items, add a note and we’ll allocate the right vehicle.
How Booking & Pricing Works
• Within Edinburgh city limits: metered fares via our driver app (clear, upfront).
• Outside Edinburgh / long-distance: fixed price agreed in advance.
• Pay online by card (secure link) or in-car by card/cash, unless specified otherwise.
• You’ll receive booking confirmation and driver/vehicle details before pick-up.
• Flight delayed? We track it—your driver timing updates automatically.
