Important – Online Prices May Not Be Accurate
You can submit a Vogrie Country Park journey through our online booking system, but the price displayed online may not be the correct fare.
Our booking system calculates fares on the assumption that a suitable vehicle is available within our normal operating area. Vogrie Country Park is outside Edinburgh, so the automated price doesn't always account for the additional distance a driver may need to travel to provide your journey.
This is particularly important when booking transport from Vogrie Country Park back to Edinburgh. A driver may need to travel from Edinburgh to Vogrie before your passenger journey even begins.
For this reason, Vogrie Country Park journeys are manually priced before being confirmed. Please don't treat the automatically generated online price as your confirmed fare.
Events & Festivals at Vogrie Country Park
Vogrie Country Park hosts events throughout the year, including festivals, dance events, weddings and other organised gatherings.
During larger events, demand for transport can be significantly higher than normal. If you already know what time you intend to leave, we strongly recommend booking your return transport at the same time as your outward journey.
We provide transport for events including Vogrie Pogrie as well as other festivals and events taking place at Vogrie Country Park.
Pre-Book Your Return to Edinburgh
If you're travelling to an event at Vogrie, don't leave arranging your return until you're ready to go home.
Vogrie Country Park is outside Edinburgh, and we cannot guarantee that one of our vehicles will be sitting nearby or available at short notice, particularly late in the evening.
By pre-booking, we can arrange a driver specifically for your pickup and confirm the appropriate vehicle for your group.

We strongly recommend arranging your return in advance, particularly after evening events, as vehicles may not be available locally at short notice.
Why might the online price be different?
Our online booking system calculates fares assuming that a suitable vehicle is available within our normal operating area.
Vogrie Country Park is outside Edinburgh. For a pickup from Vogrie, the driver may need to travel from Edinburgh to the park before your passenger journey begins.
Because of this, online prices should not be treated as the confirmed fare for Vogrie Country Park journeys. We'll manually check the fare before confirming your booking.
Can I book my outward and return journeys together?
Yes. In fact, for events at Vogrie Country Park we recommend doing exactly that.
Give us your outward and return times, passenger numbers and Edinburgh pickup or drop-off location and we'll check availability for both journeys.
Do you have 6, 7 and 8-seat vehicles?
Yes. Subject to availability, we can provide vehicles for groups of up to 8 passengers.
Larger vehicles are limited and can be particularly busy during festivals, concerts and other major events, so advance booking is recommended.
Can we bring camping equipment or extra luggage?
Yes, but please tell us what you're bringing when booking.
Passenger capacity and luggage capacity are not the same thing, particularly with a full 6, 7 or 8-passenger vehicle. We'll make sure the vehicle allocated is suitable for your group and luggage.
Is an online booking automatically confirmed?
No. Online bookings are subject to driver and vehicle availability and are not guaranteed until accepted and confirmed by Kay’s Cabs.
